Ron Dalton

President

Ron Dalton is the current President of FLAPPA and has served on the Board since 2019. He did his undergraduate work at Elon University (NC) and his graduate work at Western Illinois.  When not conducting FLAPPA business Ron is the Director of Maintenance Operations for Housing at Florida Gulf Coast University.  He has also served at the University of South Carolina Upstate, University of North Carolina Greensboro, High Point University (NC), Ball State University (IN), and Louisburg College (NC).  Ron also worked outside the field of higher education for 2 ½ years as a Human Resource Manager and Training Coordinator for Newell Rubbermaid’s Levolor Blind’s division.

Allen Masters

Vice President-Elect

Allen Masters serves at the Associate Vice President at Daytona State College.  He is responsible for both Maintenance Operations as well as Planning and Construction. He has over 30 years of facilities experience, with 15 years in higher education, including Eastern Florida College and the University of Florida.  He is a Certified Educational Facilities Professional through APPA and has held certifications in LEED and Green Globes.   He is as member of APPA, SRAPPA, FLAPPA and FEFPA.  He currently serves on the FLAPPA board as Vice President.

Chad Caldwell

Vice President of Administrative Affairs

Chad Caldwell is currently the Assistant Director of Maintenance Operations at Florida Gulf Coast University. He has worked at Florida Gulf Coast University for 12 years and managed recreational and residential facilities during his tenure. Chad’s wife, Lisa also works at Florida Gulf Coast University, and he has 2 daughters ages 7 and 3. Chad’s hobbies include recreational boating, fishing, and racing on-road/off-road RC vehicles.”

Cindy Lamerson is the owner of A Little Extra Help an event planning company.  With a background in administration and community relations in educational institutions Cindy now primarily works for the Florida Chapter of APPA,  oversees their annual conference and manages their membership database.  Married to Sam for 43 years and Grammie to three Ella (6), Benny (2), and Sophia (2).
