FLAPPA was started over sixteen years ago by a small, key group of facilities professionals from universities around Florida. When looking at the APPA organization as a whole, this group realized that we needed something more, something different. It was evident that there was a need to involve our frontline supervisors and facilities staff; providing additional opportunities to learn from each other and utilize the experience and knowledge of the people around us to educate and improve.
